What paper do you print on?
Our standard paper is 310 gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag — a 100% cotton rag, acid-free, lignin-free sheet used by museums and fine-art photographers. It has a soft matte finish that suits illustrative and painterly work.
Alternative papers include:
- Smooth cotton photo rag (285 gsm) — tighter surface, cooler tone, better for high-detail or photorealistic work.
- Textured cotton rag (310 gsm) — slight surface texture for a more painterly feel.
- Poly-cotton canvas (400 gsm) — archival canvas for stretched canvas orders.
All options are printed with pigment-based archival inks, rated for 75–200 years of color stability when kept behind UV-protective glazing and out of direct sunlight.
